Branka Minic

Branka joined Manpower in 1996 as Director of Professional Services for North America. In that role, she was instrumental in establishing the network of Manpower technical offices that specialize in information technology, engineering, scientific, telecommunications, finance and managerial staffing.

In 1999, Branka was named Manpower’s first Director of Workforce Development. She led the design and implementation of Manpower’s TechReach program, a comprehensive training and placement initiative aimed at increasing the employability and earnings of highly marginalized labor force groups, while creating a new source of diverse, well qualified job candidates for Manpower’s clients. Over the years, TechReach grew throughout United States and Canada and served more than 10,000 individuals.

Branka forged numerous public-private partnerships, bringing Manpower and other workforce stakeholders together in joint, successful workforce and economic development projects, transitioning un- and under- employed into the workforce, in North America.

Since 2004, Branka has been with Manpower’s Global Corporate Affairs team. She develops and manages relationships, strategic partnerships and business initiatives with public and political audiences who can affect Manpower business, in both developed and developing markets. Working with international organizations, such as UNHCR, UN Global Compact and ILO, with government agencies in US and abroad, and with NGOs, Branka engages the Manpower organization in projects that create bridge to employment for disadvantaged groups, such as refugees, youth, and victims of exploitation or disasters.

Branka serves on the Board of Directors of the Balkan Children and Youth Foundation. Established in 2000 under the auspices of the International Youth Foundation, BCYF aims to significantly improve the conditions and prospects for young people in the Balkan Region. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences as an expert on workforce development and public-private partnerships.

Branka holds a MSEE degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia and a MSCS degree in Computer Science from the University of Miami, Florida.
